Description: Mjedenica, school for the blind being use as a shelter, entrance. Dom Mjedenica is a school for children with special needs. Many of these children remained in the school at the beginning of the war, separated from their parents who lived outside of Sarajevo. During the war, the school also served as a shelter where residents of these and neighboring streets gathered.
