Description: Heavy metal structures were placed throughout the city to stop the advance of combat vehicles. In the Bosnian language, these obstacles are called "JEŽ," which means hedgehog. One such obstacle was located on the Miljacka River's promenade, now called Obala Maka Dizdara. The presence of "hedgehogs" in the very center of the city testifies to the proximity of enemy lines. During one of the walks along the Miljacka River, passersby were surprised by the presence of seagulls and the fact that, regardless of the siege in Sarajevo, they were present.
